We’ve been able to reach our goals of 35mm, 120, 4x5, and 10,000 backers — which unlocked the last stretch goal, 220 film! This is all because of you — all of our amazing backers! We know you are itching to get this film and load it into your cameras. We’re working around the clock to make sure that we can begin shipping our initial batch to our early bird backers starting this month. 

CineStill is excited to announce a new film format for our 400Dynamic film stock: 400D in 220! In order to give the community an opportunity to achieve this goal, the FILM MAKER Crowdfunding Campaign is being extended one more week. 400Dynamic is a 400 ISO daylight-balanced color film that CineStill is making available to photographers for the first time ever.



Our 400D crowdfunding campaign has officially reached our third goal! This means that we’ll be able to produce our newest film in 35mm, 120, and 4x5 large format. We know we might be sounding like a broken record at this point, but we can’t thank you enough for helping back our 400D campaign and helping us make this new film.

Can you believe it? Since our last campaign update, a lot has happened, and quite frankly, it’s made all of us excited! Not only because we’re introducing a new color film, but because the analog community has shown and proven to us, that the need for more 400 speed film is there.

CineStill REDRUM 120 is a unique color negative film that has been reverse-rolled for exposing through the base of the film, rather than directly to the emulsion.
